We are looking for a SALES SUCCESS DIRECTOR to help fuel our continued growth!
As a high-growth company, we’re seeking a Sales Success Director who shares our passion for sustainability, innovation, and shaping a better future.
In this role, you will drive the performance of the international sales team by ensuring consistent and active pursuit of new business opportunities and adherence to the company's sales process.
This role focuses on ensuring that all sales activities are executed effectively, from prospecting to closing deals, while maintaining accurate data in the CRM system. The Sales Success Director plays a crucial role in supporting the team to meet and exceed revenue goals, ensuring optimal sales practices, and fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Segment Directors, Marketing, Supply and Customer Service, to ensure alignment on lead generation efforts, customer needs, and feedback loops.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Drive new business development by ensuring that the sales team actively hunts and generates new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation efforts.
- Support the team in identifying and qualifying potential leads, nurturing relationships, and closing deals to meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Train, guide, and coach the sales team to follow best practices in every stage of the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing.
- CRM Ownership and Management. Develop, implement, and customize CRM features and integrations to streamline sales processes, improve user experience, and ensure the system aligns with evolving business needs.
- Track key sales metrics, including activity levels, pipeline progress, and deal closures, to ensure that the team is on target to achieve sales objectives.
- Provide monthly updates on sales forecasts, ensuring forecasts are adjusted based on new data and real-time sales performance.
- Lead by example, actively participating in sales activities when needed and demonstrating effective sales techniques.
- Gather market information by identifying customer needs and preferences, monitoring competitor activities and industry trends.

WHAT HELPS YOU TO SUCCEED:
- A proven track record of leading international sales teams (preferably +7 years)
- Knowledge and experience of working in manufacturing industry and/or packaging market.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and best practices in new business development.
- Extensive experience in international B2B sales with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth and executing sales strategies.
- An innovative mindset and the courage to target big, long-term growth opportunities.
- The ability to navigate longer qualification periods and build relationships throughout extended sales cycles.
- Ability to work collaboratively and inspire others, both internally and externally.
- Commercial training in form of bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Fluency in English is a must and preferably also in Finnish. Additional European languages are a plus.
